How to choose your trip in Ireland?
The country's size can be deceiving: you might think you can see everything in a week, but the narrow roads of the west, villages worth lingering in, and sites that deserve a proper pause set a different pace. A stay of 8 to 12 days allows you to combine Dublin, the southwest (Kerry, Dingle) and Connemara without rushing. To add Northern Ireland with the Giant's Causeway and Belfast, or venture further to Donegal, plan for 13 to 17 days instead. We build each itinerary based on your entry point (Dublin or Shannon) and your interests.
Different types of trips
Our cultural trips explore the monasteries of Glendalough, the megalithic sites of the Boyne, the music festivals of Doolin, and Dublin's literary scene in the footsteps of Joyce and Yeats. Our adventure trips focus on hiking in the Wicklow Mountains, climbing Carrauntoohil in Kerry, kayaking on the lakes of Killarney, or surfing at Bundoran. For family journeys, we combine educational farms, medieval castles and equestrian activities, with a pace suited to children and short stages between days.
What is the best season?
May and June open the season with long days, blooms in the Burren, and average temperatures of 14 to 17°C. July and August remain the busiest months, with festivals around every corner, but high visitor numbers at major sites. September offers golden light on the west coast and lower prices. From October to March, the country quiets down, creating a more intimate atmosphere in the pubs, but many coastal sites close and daylight shrinks to just 7 hours in December.
